Three young children abandoned in vehicle as felon with loaded gun runs from Police in Uptown Harrisburg

As the vehicle pulled over in the 2600 block of Jefferson Street, Karelle Middleton exited the driver’s seat and began running south.
When the suspect fled he left three small children in the vehicle: a 3-year-old, a 5-year-old, and an 8-year-old. Police found a loaded Smith and Wesson .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol in his jacket. The firearm had an obliterated serial number.

A crime scene was located in the lot of Kennedy Fried Chicken with multiple casings recovered and vehicles damaged

The victim from Tuesday evening’s shooting has died in the hospital.
