A National Guard facility in Pennsylvania illegally refused to allow a Trail Life USA scouting troop to tour their facility because of the group’s religious affiliation.
The Fort Indiantown Gap National Guard facility regularly hosts tours for Boy Scout troops and other organizations, but the Trailmen were told they could not participate because they belonged to a Christian scouting organization.

In her remarks at the CAIR fundraiser in L.A., Omar urged attendees to “raise hell” and “make people uncomfortable” in an effort to reverse the fortunes of Muslim Americans, who the freshman Congresswoman suggested were demoted to second-class citizens following 9/11.
Later in her remarks, the Minnesota Democrat implied President Donald Trump was to blame for the deadly mosque shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand. 

PA State Rep. Greg Rothman does not support Gov. Wolf’s severance tax for infrastructure investment

Barr failed to adequately portray the findings of their inquiry and that they were more troubling for President Trump than Mr. Barr indicated.  The story was published based on information provided by anonymous sources and people familiar with the investigators “simmering frustrations.”

PA Gov. Tom Wolf “horrified” that Rep (R) prayed to Jesus before Rep (D) was sworn in on Quran at Statehouse in Harrisburg

There was no backlash when State Rep. Jason Dawkins, a Muslim lawmaker, opened Tuesday’s legislative session by unexpectedly reading from the Quran. But it was State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz who was accused of bigotry after she invoked the name of Jesus on Monday, just before the Legislature’s first Muslim woman, Rep. Johnson-Harrell, was sworn in on the Quran at the Statehouse in Harrisburg.
PA Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf was outraged, later saying, “I was horrified,” and issued an apology to Rep. Movita Johnson-Harrell.
Johnson-Harrell, the Muslim lawmaker, accused Borowicz of using her religion against her.

Innocent bystander shot while cooking in kitchen of Harrisburg home, shots fired from street

The man was preparing dinner just before 10 p.m. Saturday when he felt a sharp pain in his right arm. He saw he was bleeding and called 911.
Police found bullet holes in the siding of the second-floor balcony of the home, in the 1900 block of State Street. One bullet went through a wall and hit the victim’s right arm. He was treated at a hospital. Several vehicles had also been shot.
