Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – International journalist and radio talk show host Angie Wong is trending on social media this week as her show has rapidly gained name recognition. The Final Countdown airs live daily from 10:00am – 12:00am, and covers a variety of popular topics discussed from angles that aren’t conveyed on national news syndicates.
The show can be heard on 105.5 FM radio in Washington D.C. and other U.S. cities, as well as in dozens of international markets, and streaming online. Angie co-hosts the show with Ted Rall, a columnist, editorial cartoonist, and author.
Yesterday during the live broadcast, Angie reported a story about First Lady Melania Trump persuading her husband to name Tucker Carlson as his VP selection for 2024. Angie regarded the competence and moral character of Carlson as superior to any establishment class candidate. She said Carlson has the name recognition to help Trump win in 2024.
Her name has also been trending in the media following the recent public release of a high profile lawsuit based on a politically motivated campaign to defame Angie and her associates. The defendants have allegedly attempted to use national news syndicates to smear Angie’s reputation.
Angie Wong—a political journalist and co-host of The Final Countdown—recently filed a defamation lawsuit in the West Palm Beach, Florida-based 15th Judicial Circuit Court, accusing Stan Fitzgerald, Jared Craig, and Patrick Collis of defamation per se and conspiracy to defame for damages.
Today when discussing the Hunter Biden scandal with a guest, Angie posed the question of what the national news headline would be if a similar scandal involved the Trump family instead of the Biden family, to which her guest replied, “Trump’s son guilty on all counts.”
