Camp Hill, Pennsylvania – An official groundbreaking ceremony was held this week at the site of a new Starbucks to be built in the parking lot of the AMC12 movie theater on Simpson Ferry Road, located near the Capital City Mall in Camp Hill.

State Rep. Sheryl Delozier, and Hampden Township Commissioners Sherri Chippo, and Nathan Silcox were invited by Mike Weidner of Weidner Construction and Drew Bobincheck of Equity Development Partners to hold the official ceremony, and a photograph was snapped to commemorate the occasion when the crew simultaneously shoveled the first scoops of dirt.

Starbucks has more than a dozen locations throughout the Harrisburg area, with another new store to be built at the Beltway Commons shopping center on the Carlisle Pike near I-581. This will also be the new location of BJ’s wholesale club which is being relocated from Camp Hill.
