As a female, I am no longer guaranteed of feeling safe within a female locker room. Playing on a sports team with my peersisn’t a given. I can’t even use a bathroom without the fear of being rudely interrupted by the presence of a biological male. Oh how far women’s rights have fallen in just a few short years. Women have been marginalized by Democrats with a political agenda and are using mental health as a way to dupe and bully Republicans into pulling their agenda along. It is true that mental health issues are steeply climbing, but funding and pushing “gender affirming care” and mental health social platforms through hidden grants is not the answer (just research Kooth if you doubt that statement). As several European countries are moving away from affirming gender care as a means of psychological help, the United States is doubling down and heading down a path of future regret and the inability to take it back.

Gender dysphoria is a term used for those who have conflict regarding their biological gender versus the gender by which they identify and can lead into depression, anxiety, and self harm.  This diagnosis is seeing new trends in new groups at an alarming rate.  Traditionally, it was males (and an extremely low percentage as that); now, it is females and autistic adolescents scurrying to get life altering, no coming back from, transitioning surgery.

Three groups have really shaped the gender affirming care: WPATH, AAP, and the Endocrine Society. 2022, WPATH published their 8th edition of its Standards of Care for the Health of Transgender and Gender Diverse People.  The new addition includes recommendations for children and adolescents where there is no minimum age requirements for hormonal and surgical treatments. The goal is to arrest puberty at the earliest stages using GnRHa therapy.

The Endocrine Society has supported the use of hormonal and surgical intervention since 2009.  AAP recommends gender affirming care through social transition, puberty blockers, sex hormones, and surgeries. Let’s call it what it is… medical castration and mutilation with no route for return.

International organizations have come to different conclusions: Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare determined that the risks of interventions outweigh the benefit. Finland’s Council for Choices in Health Care is calling for psychological support as the first line treatment. Both of these countries restrict surgeries even for adults.  Meanwhile, the United States is pushing full steam ahead with democrats yelling that denying access to gender affirming care is a transphobic violation of human rights. Dear republicans, grow a spine and stop caring about the name calling.

Let’s review what they are not telling you.  GnRHa stands for gonadotrophin releasing hormone analogues and is used to suppress puberty, estrogen or testosterone to promote secondary sex characteristics.  This can come with a host of issues including things like osteoporosis, interference with brain development, and metabolic issues.  Why? Because we are messing with children at significant ages of development where their hormones are desperately needed to complete these developmental milestones… you cannot get that back.  In the large scheme of things, what is not being recognized is the higher amount of co-morbities that also affect those claiming gender dysphoria.  Not addressed are the neurodiverse conditions like depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorders and autism seeping into the gender affirmation care that are then seeing a detransition rate of upwards of 30%.  If left to their own devices (without pharmaceuticals and surgeries), about 75% of adolescents will mature out of gender dysphoria in adulthood (i.e.- if they were born a boy, they will remain a boy).  However, once a child starts on hormone therapy, the transition rate from one gender to another is 100%. An anomaly, really, when comparing the two… or what just seems impossible if these kids were truly gender dysphoric.  In summary, your kids are being psychologically coerced.

Realizing that the doctors and politicians pushing this are also mentally off; the next question should be why is this happening?  This simple answer is that no one really knows.  After many papers in and a few books, the question still remains an unknown. However, my personal opinion is there are several outside factors at play.  First, as I have echoed in many articles before this, the government has done nothing to protect consumers, in fact, I would say at this point, they have gone out of their way to harm us.  This scenario is no different. We are bombarded with endocrine disruptors at every turn.  In short, chemicals that cause our hormones to not function correctly.  Phthalates, atrazine, fluoride, plastics, polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAs), are just a few found in everyday, multiple-times-a-day products.  Phthalates are found in fragrances (think air fresheners and candles) and polyvinyl chloride (your standard vinyl flooring) just to give two examples. These chemicals not only impact any human, but are passed down to the fetus in pregnant women. Prenatal exposure affects both neurodevelopment and neurobehavioral outcomes and then we wonder why the kids are running around like uncontrollable animals (disclaimer: that may sound harsh, but visit a shopping mall food court or public school classroom and, well, you’ll understand and probably agree).

Now that we are ripping up the luxury vinyl tiles and getting rid of candles, let’s go one step further into the plastics industry, another endocrine disruptor. 70% of foods, 50% of beverages, and most of your carpets will fall into this category… basically, life. A short history for the curious.  Polyvinyl chloride was commercialized in 1926 and saw a 300% increase in use after World War II. There are around 10,000 microplastic particles found in one bottle of water with all plastic containers emitting nano and micro plastics that lead not only to things like endometriosis, but neurological disorders, cancer, obesity, and diabetes.  In summary, we are ingesting about one credit card worth of plastic each week with that being found in the brain about 2 hours after consumption.

If you believe paper to be better, then it is time you heard about polyfluoroalkyl substances, also known as PFAs.   In short, these are forever chemicals or compounds that just stay in your body, specifically, they get embedded into your cells and tissues.   These are added to paper products to prevent the migration of grease, oils, or moisture within the paper product.  From these paper products (pizza boxes, fast food wrappers, popcorn bags, coffee cups, receipts), they leach into your food that then end up in your body and have been attributed to autism, liver damage, thyroid disorder, unhealthy cholesterol levels, IBS, miscarriages, and early onset puberty.

And let’s not forget fluoride.  This by-product is usually shipped in from China on the premise that it helps prevent dental caries. In truth, it makes teeth denser but more brittle, yet is put in most drinking water and given as a supplement by most pediatric dentists.  This compound of fluorine pushes out the much needed iodine in your system, and then impacts the pineal gland; a small neuroendocrine organ that should be photosensitive and is needed for the circadian rhythm. This organ gives the secretion of melatonin.  Patients that exhibit neurodegenerative diseases, like autism and depression, tend to have abnormal melatonin rhythms. The disruption inhibits hormones by pulling calcium from the bones that then calcifies the gland.

Are you catching on yet? Unfortunately, these are but a few examples. There are many more. What is demonstrated, though, is that we may be experiencing brain inflammation, emotional upheaval, and serious health consequences from our everyday life that in some cases are unescapable. Now that our brains are off, our bodies inflamed, and feeling depressed over social media that is pretty much raising most kids, we wonder what is happening. That’s the last piece to the puzzle… what are you allowing to be taught to your kids? They are getting the transgender messaging from the television, video games, school books within the required reading, social media, and the teachers. How much time a day do you spend with your child versus these other influences? And how much time should you be spending? The answer could really be one of incredible significance for your son. Your daughter.
