Harrisburg, PA – Harrisburg Police responded to the scene of a reported drive-by shooting in broad daylight at 3rd and Woodbine Streets.

One resident said she heard 10 shots fired from a vehicle. No arrests have been made in the case.

Police were spotted on the scene following the shooting around 3:50 pm. It is unknown if the suspects remain a threat to public safety.

The extent of injuries is not available. There are no reports of property damage resulting from the shooting.

No description of the suspects has been released, and police haven’t publicly identified the vehicle involved.

Harrisburg residents have been shaken in 2019 by various brutal murders in the city, and shootings at popular nightclub establishments downtown.

At this time, Harrisburg Police have not responded for comment.

Update: On Monday December 30, 2019, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Harrisburg Police Officers responded to another afternoon shooting in Uptown. Shots were fired near N 6th and Forrest Streets, just 2 blocks from the daylight shooting scene on Friday. When Officers arrived, they located an unoccupied vehicle that had been previously reported stolen out of Swatara Township. The area was canvassed and no victims were located. The investigation is on-going.
