Gun found by son last year cited in new explanation of Fetterman detaining unarmed jogger at gunpoint
Fetterman published a new explanation of the story from 2013 when he allegedly detained an innocent unarmed Black jogger at gunpoint. Today he cited an incident that occurred last year when his son allegedly found a gun in the grass behind their home in Braddock.
Fetterman stands by his decision to detain the unarmed jogger at gunpoint, and has made no apology to Miyares.
“I’m not going to just sit here while a bunch of Republicans who have never given a damn about racial justice launch these bad-faith attacks from the safety of their gated communities,” John Fetterman said in his statement.
Appearing in shorts and a Carhartt jacket, Lt. Governor John Fetterman of Pennsylvania was interviewed by CBS News this week.
