Harrisburg, Pa – On Friday, May 15 at noon, citizens of Pennsylvania will gather on the steps of the Capitol to protest the tyranny of Governor Wolf, and to rally in support of reopening the state. Protesters allege that Wolf has unconstitutionally denied citizens of their basic rights, and he has threatened the livelihood of all Pennsylvanians.

Senator Doug Mastriano, Rep. Russ Diamond, and Attorney Marc Scaringi are scheduled to speak at noon on Friday on the Capitol steps. Others are expected to join.

Similar to the rally held in Harrisburg on April 20, event organizers again are encouraging attendees to use caution when congregating near the Capitol steps, and streets surrounding the Capitol Complex.

On Monday morning, Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano called for the removal of Secretary of Health Dr. Levine, who he says has committed medical malpractice in mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic. Dr. Levine enabled the virus’s spread through nursing homes and other long-term care facilities by forcing COVID-19 positive patients into the facilities.

Later during Monday’s press briefing, Pa. Governor Tom Wolf responded to Senator Mastriano by calling his actions “cowardly.” Wolf threatened Pennsylvanians who move to the yellow phase of his color-coded reopening plan without his approval, saying that funding could be slashed for counties, and licenses may be revoked for local businesses that don’t comply with his order.

Following Wolf’s tyrannical outburst, Danny DeVito, a candidate in the 45th District of Pennsylvania, has called for the simultaneous impeachment of Governor Wolf and Lieutenant Governor Fetterman for their malicious handling of the COVID-19 crisis.

Feeding from the energy of Trump’s Monday morning tweet, the cause has been invigorated and Pennsylvanians are rallying behind the calls of Senator Doug Mastriano, Danny DeVito, and other outspoken citizens and elected officials. An event has been set up on the ReopenPA Facebook group for Friday, May 15, 2020 on the steps of the Capitol in Harrisburg.

Tuesday morning President Trump announced that he will be in Allentown, Pennsylvania on Thurday May, 14.

Citizens who plan to congregate in support of Trump and Pennsylvania on Thursday in Allentown are also encouraged to attend Friday’s event Harrisburg.

In response to Governor Wolf targeting innocent citizens of Pennsylvania with financial ruin, Wendy Bell of KDKA Radio Pittsburgh said, “This is war!”

DeVito alleges that “Governor Wolf has threatened the permits, licenses, and certificates of small business owners who open their doors, in order to feed their families. By threatening the livelihood of those he has a duty to protect, Governor Wolf has already abdicated his claim to the Governorship of this Commonwealth.”

DeVito also states that “Governor Wolf appointed Dr. Levine as the Pennsylvania Secretary of Health, who is grossly unqualified in the field of public health. Dr. Levine directed the placement of COVID-19 patients into nursing homes, leading to death and suffering for our most cherished Pennsylvanians.”

Local radio talk show co-host Holly Love of WHP580 in Harrisburg has expressed strong support for small business owners in Pennsylvania who are struggling financially as a result of the Governors orders.

An incident in East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County has sparked outrage. Citizens are speaking out about state and local police departments being used against Pennsylvanians, effectively cutting off their source of personal income.

Attorney Marc Scaringi has filed suit in US District Court in Harrisburg asking Court to enjoin enforcement of Governor Wolf’s unconstitutional Business Closure and Stay-At-Home Orders. The judge has scheduled a conference Thursday at 1:30pm.

Meanwhile in Midtown Harrisburg, a group of hardliner liberal activists are organizing a loose nit counter-protest event.

Update: During Tuesday’s press briefing it was admitted that Dr. Levine removed her mother from a personal care home while not allowing the same latitude to every other Pennsylvanian, as reported by State Representative Seth Grove of York County.

Matt Brouillette, President & CEO at Commonwealth Partners Chamber of Entrepreneurs also publicly posted about Levine’s long-term care scandal, mentioning that Levine received the media question in advance and had a prepared answer, and that the media was not given an opportunity to ask follow-up questions.

  13. I live in Franklin county and Doug Mastriano and Rob Kauffman have long since stopped representing what we want. The commissioners put out a feedback request and 69% of responding residents do not want to open prematurely and destroy our businesses and kill the elderly. Make your political statement on your time and not on our taxpayer dime! End the publicity stunts and stop acting like a clown!
