Originally Reported: (07/2017) Harrisburg, PA – In a motion recently filed by Timothy Rowbottom against the senior advisor to Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse, Karl Singleton has been named in a $12,000 civil suit for threatening life of the Mayor’s constituent.

In a written statement by the plaintiff, it has be alleged that on May 09, 2017, around 9 p.m., the defendant, Mr. Singleton threatened the man and alluded to knowing his home address. This incident occurred in the Harrisburg Hilton Hotel during the 2017 Mayoral debate. Singleton and Rowbottom were both in attendance at the debate event that took place that evening in the 2nd floor Ballroom.

The plaintiff believes this was a politically motivated threat.

Update: (10/02/2017) Dauphin County releases evidence in Singleton case

Update: In following up with this story, the individual who filed the complaint also has had his RTK request and subpoena for evidence intentionally withheld by city solicitor Neil Grover. Grover allegedly confronted the individual in an aggressive manner, and then told him he’d never give him the records. More RTK requests were filed immediately by the citizen.

The City and Neil Grover have a long history of refusing to turn over evidence that can be used against them.
