York, Pa – Violence erupted during a Black Lives Matter march through the streets of York, Pennsylvania, protesting the death of George Floyd.
The march turned into a full blown riot when a large crowd of violent people mobbed a white female who was driving her car on the street during the impromptu march.

The march began at Penn Park, moved to the police station, then became a parade down George Street, which still had cars occupying the road. The roads were not blocked off, which meant that vehicles had to yield way for protestors.
The march took a violent turn when a fight broke out between a protester and a driver. The driver got out of their vehicle, while several people swarmed around the car in a scuffle. The commotion eventually resulted in someone jumping on the vehicle and shattering the rear window.
Police were nowhere to be found during the ensuing chaos, while protestors were angered that some drivers continued on despite people occupying the roads.
Update: According to York Mayor Michael Helfrich, “It is clear so far from the footage that nobody was dragged out of the car.”

At the end of the video, someone walks over to the woman recording and says “she’s racist! She didn’t beep or honk for black lives matter, so they trashed her (I can’t make out what was said after that)”. Not honking/beeping for BLM does NOT make a person racist. I am sure that she felt her life was in danger, Penn law allows you to use force without first having to retreat from imminent danger if you’re at home, in your car, or at your workplace. This is based on the old notion that your home (or car, or worksite) is your castle, a place where you feel secure; if you are threatened there, then you shouldn’t be forced to retreat from attackers. She should have floored the throttle and removed the danger, if any protesters died in the process of her defending herself, tough, they would have deserved it.

Agree erasing the history of the past only erases the fact that people died for each flag the rebel flag which lots of black men fought and died for and the union American flag that lots of black men fought and died for. If I was killed by the police they would probably got the police officer a metal because I 51, don’t break the laws, recently got kicked out of my house by a bunch of homeless people who decided they wanted my home and police would not do nothing.
