Letter to the Editor: Scott Perry is Protecting Surrogate Children from Predators

It’s hard to believe there’s no local coverage to date on Rep. Scott Perry’s recent bill, dubbed the “Protecting Kids from Creeps Act” (HR 9131), for which he issued a press release June 11^th. 

This bills holds paramount importance on child protection and our national security. Case in point, a Pennsylvania Tier-1 registered sex offender (a former teacher), arrested in 2016 for soliciting a teen student with over 12,000 explicit text messages, obtained a baby through surrogacy with his husband. In another case, a foreign national from China – via this loophole – “ordered” 200 babies via surrogacy from a U.S.-based surrogacy agency.  Ask yourself why would one Chinese national “order” 200 babies??  Will our sympathizer, globalist media convince you it’s for some virtuous reason??  Perhaps they couldn’t think of a spin, and that’s why there was no coverage. In Rep. Perry’s press release he said: “There’s a reason so many other countries ban ‘birth tourism’ – ironically, China is one of them. It’s ludicrous that nothing’s been done here to stop this thus far.”

This bill seeks to stop sexual and other forms of exploitation of children (babies); and also stop foreign nationals from exploiting our system to obtain American passports and manufacture American citizenship via their  ‘U.S born’ babies, ordered via transnational surrogacy. It’s sickening! 

I’d ask your readers to please research this horrific practice that’s been happening for too long. When you vote at the ballot box, know all the costs, all the perils that your politician is fighting in Washington!
