Letter to the Editor
My name is Lisa Grayson, and I have the honor of serving as Cumberland County’s Register of Wills. I am writing to endorse Barb Gleim for reelection as our State Representative.
Barb has been an outstanding advocate for Cumberland County in Harrisburg. I have seen firsthand how she has helped secure millions of dollars for infrastructure, including funding to complete a planned shared-use path along Route 74, giving students a safe way to walk and bike to the Carlisle School District campus.
Barb has also fought hard to protect girls’ and women’s sports — an issue that roughly 80% of Pennsylvanians support. As a woman and a mother, this matters deeply to me, and I believe it’s one of the defining issues of our time.
As our state representative, Barb fights for all her constituents. On a personal level, she has been a mentor to me and to many other women in our community. I am proud to support Barb’s reelection, and I hope our community will join me in doing the same.
