Lititz, Pennsylvania – Two low-flying Black Hawk military helicopters were spotted trailing a bright red chopper over the Lancaster Airport. People reported hearing and seeing the choppers passing very low overhead through the area around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Residents said they were flying so low, the force of the choppers shook their entire home.

The fleet was reportedly heard passing overhead several other times throughout the day. Witnesses also described seeing a massive caravan of military vehicles traveling north on Route 72, possibly heading towards Fort Indiantown Gap.

It was estimated that 50-60 military vehicles passed through Route 72. Witnesses who saw the Black Hawks land at the airport reported seeing heavily armed agents with FBI lettered on the back of their jackets departing from the choppers. Patrons of Fiorentino’s Italian Restaurant at the airport had a front row seat of the action.

Although surprised, many local residents believe this to be a training exercise. However, at a time of heightened international tensions, the optics of this exercise could have appeared to be a full scale military operation.

Another video shows the choppers landed with National Guard training at Fort Indiantown Gap.
