Harrisburg, Pa – In response to a snarky tweet authored by ABC27 reporter Alex Peterson, television news anchor Kyle Rogers fired back, calling Alex the male version of “Karen,” based on Peterson’s past tweets.
Karen is a mocking slang term for an entitled, obnoxious, middle-aged white woman. (Dictionary.com)
Peterson followed up on the response of Rogers with an equally snarky comment, accusing Rogers of being a Twitter bot.
Sunday morning, perhaps in an attempt to move on from the “Karen” tweet, and from being called out by his superior, Peterson deflected attention towards a silly picture of himself.
#Karen has been trending on Twitter, and national TV news anchor Jack Posobiec also tweeted sarcastic comment this week.
Update: As of 6:08pm Alex tweeted an update, firmly securing his manliness.
