Hummelstown, PA – Once upon a time, just a few years ago, there was an Indian food restaurant called Aangan on Route 22, in Progress. The food was delicious and they served a fresh lunch buffet daily. Everybody who was familiar, including so many regular customers miss that food.
I’ve tried various other Indian, sushi, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc., restaurants in Harrisburg, Hershey, and West Shore. A variety of establishments have become staples in the community, and many new bistros have now opened, bringing new energy and culture to the region.
Based on an informal survey of local patrons, a list of trending local Asian cuisine has been complied, for your information. There are a dozen options within a 20 minute drive, and a handful stand out in the most recent online reviews.
Also, it was only a few years ago that I had some delicious Malaysian food at Jenny’s Kuali in Bethlehem, PA. I am wishfully thinking of how great it would be to have an option like that locally.
The reviews are as follows:
Korealicious in Lemoyne is a great Korean option!
- He和 Harmony is the one to go nearby. Another of He和 will be open on Chocolate Avenue in March, I have heard.
- He和 in Middletown has authentic food. Highly recommended.
- He和 in Middletown is wonderful. One of the best around!
