Chapelle’s Netflix special has not been received kindly. The Atlantic calls it a “temper tantrum.” The Root says it’s“lazy.” The Ringer says it’s “predictable.” Vice urges its readers to skip it altogether.

This echoes the sentiment of a New York Times column from last month, critiquing a similar Chapelle comedy set, which declares his jokes are “getting old.”

In yet another review, according to writer Damion Young, All the Worst White People Love Dave Chappelle’s Sticks and Stones, as published by the Root.

Young writes, “Many consider this to be one of his best performances. And among that group are trolls, professional bigots, white supremacists, Nazi sympathizers and more of the very worst white people; an adoration due to the parallels between their sensibilities and his.

Young cites tweets that show support of Chappelle as evidenced of white supremacy, including those of Jack Posobiec and Bret Easton Ellis.

According to out.com Anderson Cooper Was at That Homophobic Dave Chappelle Show.

Dave Chappelle has been criticized in recent days for a Netflix standup special in which he refers to transgender people as “confusing” and takes aim at the men who say they were abused by pop icon Michael Jackson as children. As it turns out, the comedian had a famous fan in the audience that night: gay CNN anchor Anderson Cooper.

Cooper’s face is clearly visible in the crowd, and two other celebrities appear to be sitting in the same row: singer John Mayer and gay Bravo host Andy Cohen. The pair look to be seated next to each other at the left edge of the screen.

Mirroring the scripted far-left theory of racism by using satire, NPC Daily writes “Dave Chappelle proves once again that you do not need to be white in order to be a white supremacist – you simply need to say things that go against our progressive narrative.

It’s a racist, bigoted, homophobic hate rant no different than what Donald Trump spews at his white nationalist rallies.

  1. Seriously? LMAO. Loved his special. He is carrying on the tradition of comics going after power. If you want to see who has the power, look at who you’re not allowed to criticize. Thank God there is one comic left willing to take on the puritanical “woke” crowd who have become insufferable. Go Dave! Can’t wait for the next one.

    1. You know that line about looking at who you are not allowed to criticize doesn’t come from Voltaire, right?

It’s totally true, but it plays right into the hands of the people making these asinine criticisms.

  3. This was an awesome show..it reflected back to a few years ago when. A comedian actually told jokes and not just fed us some politically corrected bs. This is what comedy is all about..wether.it was Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, Joan Rivers, Red Fox, Lawanda Page, Eddie Murphy. hell even Don Rickles and Milton Berel and the entire Rat Pack would be me too’d, muted, push out of business for doing what most people finds funny. And DAVE CHAPPELLE DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING THAT MOST FOLKS WHO CAN THINK FOR THEMSELVES ISN’T SAYING. INCLUDING MJ STARING AT BOYS BUTTHOLE.. GET A GRIP GREAT SHOW
