Update: Man arrested for Attempted Homicide 

33-YEAR-OLD WOMAN SHOT WHILE SITTING ON HER HUMMEL STREET PORCH

On June 14, 2017 at 10:51 p.m., Harrisburg Police responded to the 300 block of Hummel Street for a report of a shooting victim. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was alert and reported she was shot after a confrontation with another woman. The suspect the fired the shot was described a a teenage black male with bushy hair in a ponytail. Police continue the investigation.
