Study: 9mm Most Commonly Used in Fatal Shootings
According to the published results of a recent study that analyzed U.S. shooting cases with known firearm size, the most common caliber was 9mm in both nonfatal shootings, and gun homicides. In fact, the 9mm was used more often in homicides than in nonfatal shootings.
