Carlisle, Pennsylvania — A lawsuit filed on May 15 by Kelly Irene Potteiger and Robert J Zambuto, both of Mechanicsburg, against Cumberland County Republican Committee (CCRC) Chairman Louis J. Capozzi, Jr. and the CCRC, will proceed on the underlying complaint.
Potteiger and Zambuto, Republican candidates for State Committee, had filed an emergency motion in the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas against the defendants seeking to stop the CCRC from distributing official poll cards to voters, which listed specific State Committee candidates chosen by the CCRC as “endorsed candidates” in violation of the CCRC bylaws. The emergency motion sought to stop the distribution of the poll cards before the primary election on May 19.
Due to an all-court recusal, the case was assigned to an out-of-county judge on May 20, which rendered the request for emergency relief moot. The remainder of the case will now proceed on the Plaintiffs’ Complaint, which was filed simultaneously with the emergency motion.
Defendants response is due at the end of June.

All the CCRC has to do is admit they were in the wrong. They violated the bylaws.
Lou will never admit he was wrong but the CCRC has a clean path forward if they address this ethically after a new chair is chosen. Hopefully an honest chair who purges the Democrats from the CCRC ranks, like Verber and all his monetarily motivated candidates and elected/appointed officials. Time for a clean start.

The voters spoke and Kelly got the most votes for the women on state committee. I hope the CCRC support her and everyone else that won they deemed unworthy for whatever reason. No one wants Verber anywhere near our party. He should register as a Democrat and leave us alone. We need to support the people’s choices post primary. Lou and his contingency really need to stop patting themselves on the back. They have been losing elections for some time now. Carlisle, the county seat, is now a sanctuary city! Many red seats have turned blue. It’s time for a change.

Capozzi tried bending and breaking every single rule to protect Michelle. He failed. Verber spent a mountain of cash to save Michelle, Savanah and Marty but money buys democrat votes, not republican voters. Is it true that CV Cures Political Slush Fund Founder Michael Verber actually spent 1000s and 1000s backing Nestor and her candidates? This exposes what a political lightweight and fraud Michelle Nestor really is! …and if that wasn’t enough, GOP volunteers were shocked by Nestor’s inappropriate U.S. Flag hotpants. I’m surprised there weren’t sexual harassment complaints! What would CV students think? This was an official voting poling location, NOT “Savannah’s”!
