Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania — A letter written by a concerned parent is bringing attention to the need for a school district policy to dictate the use of bathrooms by transgender boys in the Cumberland Valley School District. Boys are allegedly entering the girls bathrooms and locker rooms in the school district when females are using the restroom.

Having no policy to address this issue is harming innocent girls, and creating confusion and distractions for students as well as legal exposure for the district.

The letter states:

Cumberland Valley School District Board of School Directors
6746 Carlisle Pike
Mechanicsburg, PA 17050

March 16, 2026

Re: No Written Policy Regarding Gender-Related Bathrooms or Athletics

Currently, Cumberland Valley School District has no written standard or consistent policy regarding gender-related bathrooms or athletics. This is leading to biological boys using girl’s bathrooms in some of the district’s schools resulting in confusion and concern. There in no local policy to enforce one way or the other.

If it is the district administration’s desire to not separate the bathrooms by birth biological sex, then it should be made a district policy by the school board.

Whether you agree or disagree with boys who identify as girls using the girl’s bathroom or locker room, students and parents deserve consistency and clarification. With no written CV policy we have confusion and significant concern.

In addition, possible lawsuits could be filed from either side of this issue due to this not being ignored and not addressed consistently and with transparently.

The CVSD Board of Directors needs to make a choice and a formal policy now.

Thank you for your attention to this matter,

Jason Snyder
Concerned CV resident and parent

There is a policy otherwise the building would not have been built with a men’s and women’s restroom. This is a common sense issue that only brainwashed people would believe it’s OK for a men to go into a woman’s bathroom and vice versa. Indoctrination over years and years confuses people as to what a very common sense issue is.

The problem is, administrators, being confused and pander to those folks that are mentally troubled instead of giving them the mental help they need, as a result of administrators being confused and allowing this to happen, they are showing no empathy or care at all for the 99% of women that are not mentally troubled, and they are made to have lifelong effects of having to know that they’re not protected in a female bathroom, lol

No written policy exists because years ago we still had common sense and it was unnecessary. We suddenly find ourselves needing written policies and laws for things that no one would have believed needed 30 years ago. Mental illness in the country is a serious problem.

I am so angry. They lied about this. I was told this was fake news and misinformation by them, but my children told me that this is all true and the children were told to not tell their parents! OMG! What is going on and how long has this been going on for? Is it legal for them to lie to parents about this? Is it legal for boys to be in the girls bathroom?

What else are they lying to us about ?

Ask your children about the furries. Ask your children about the gender confusion they are teaching in school. Ask your children about the sexual fetishes they are teaching. Then start asking who is behind these objectives and who provides oversight. Once you find out how much you have been misled and kept in the dark about, you will never go back to being naive trusting with your children with some of these people.

I am extremely angry reading this about CV Schools. I have been told by numerous elected board members that CV was following Federal Law and now I find out that there is NO policy to protect my daughter! I thought Board President Michelle Nestor was elected to protect our children. Why hasn’t she done anything? I had given her the benefit of the doubt until I found out she was the board member who facilitated bringing that Pancholy political activist to speak to middle schoolers. I remember her standing up and clapping and crying while I sat in the auditorium watching the spectacle of an angry LGBTQ+ mob. Get your act together CV. Where are the other outraged parents?

Please wake up and get a clue. Nestor is nothing more than a RINO or a DEM wanna-a-be! She panders to Dr. Blanchard, panders to the Teacher Union President (who has three furry kids who have too many labels to list), and listens to her CV Cures advisor Mike Verber. Nestor does not care unless it helps her get another higher office.

But if he identifies as a girl then it is perfectly okay according to CVSD administration. In fact they will shame the girl for having a problem with a naked man in the girls locker room.

There actually is a policy or he building would not have been built with a men’s and women’s bathroom. The problem is the liberal administrators and board members are indoctrinated into thinking these people do not need help but instead need to be pandered to and make every normal young lady suffer with lifelong effects. Liberal thinking is killing this country! Folks were living in the end times in the Bible tells us plainly that this sort of things going to happen.

Get rid of Nestor now! I saw she is running for a Pennsylvania State position. Are you serious!!!! She probably wants to state to adopt the same “No Policy” approach as she supports at CV!

How is this possible? I was told that we had policies for this? Did school board members lie? They said this wasn’t happening at CV. Who is in charge of deciding to ignore this issue? How do we get this addressed? Why has this been withheld from the public? Can anyone explain this please?

I want to know where the four new board members stand on this issue. What about it Mike O’Brien, Brian Allen, Ashley Foresburg, Kathy George?

This board and administration will pander to special interests. They won’t do what is right or protect our children. How many children will be physically or mentally harmed before they take action?

I have been speaking about this for almost 2 years now. Just last month I asked the policy committee to work on this. It is needed. It is a fact we have male, female, transgender students and students who identify as animals. There is no policy.

What locker room do these students use? What bathroom? We have students who “identify” as another gender when they are in school and the parents have no idea. It is crazy what is going on with students. We need policies for everything these days because there is no common sense. We needed an AI policy according to Dr. Blanchard because “with out a policy there is no impetus to develop administrative regulations. Policy provides the general framework that outlines the development of the administrative regulations. We must start with the policy to drive the regulations.”

They pushed the AI policy through right away yet there is still no policy on bathrooms, locker rooms or even sports. A policy establishes exactly what a public school must have. Policies remove all bias. A conservative approach does not mean “no policy”. A conservative approach means establishing boundaries and that is what we are asking for. Without guidelines …There is no guidance. A policy will ensure transparency. Concerns are already happening. We (and the school board!) have a duty to protect student privacy without bias and support teachers with clear administrative regulations.

We have an issue already, which is why we need a policy. I can’t even believe this has to be an issue in a school district. Protect the students–ALL of them!!

Is CV still using litter boxes for the kids that identify as furries or did they finally stop that?

Does Dr Allen still believes it is the best practice to encourage the furries to use litter boxes?

Does he still encourage children to mutilate their genitals?

I remember the first time I saw the furries and heard kids tell me about the kitty litter. I was floored and appalled. I see nothing has changed. It is unsanitary and disgusting. They lied right to our faces and said there are no furries.

I have seen furries on numerous occasions, but I have never seen or heard of evidence of actual litter boxes being used or available.

I pulled my kids and sent them to WSCA because of the unsafe environment CV had become. Boys in the female locker room, fury fetishes on full display and many other nightmarish scenarios playing out.

The principals will flat out lie and say it isn’t happening. My kids have video and pictures.

We are done with the unsafe environment that gets ignored and I don’t want my children or myself bullied anymore for pushing back on this. We are done with CV.

If you have kids at CV, take them and run.

CV parents need to come out of the woodwork and tell their children’s stories about the REAL TRUTH at CV! I wouldn’t bother writing the administration or even that useless board President Nestor. Make public comments at board meetings, post your stories of social media, go straight to media outlets, or do like several other parents and pursue legal action against the district. Enough is enough.

Holy sh&$! What is going on in CV? I say to the incompetent Superintendent and unhinged narcissist Board President “SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!!!” My kids AND myself have seen first hand – disgusting furries roaming and hissing around CV schools, a Trans “pretend girl” on the recent Homecoming Court, and multiple Trans and Furry-Trans at that horrific assembly orchestrated by Superintendent Blanchard. What should we expect when Dr. Blanchard and Board Pres Nestor bow to the Trans and Furry mental misfits. Both of you should be arrested for child endangerment!

Our kids are NOT at CV to be indoctrinated by your woke ideology – including the non-sense spewed by that Child-Transition advocate board member Dr. Brian Allen or that perverted former Curriculum administrator now I think is an Asst Superintendent Robin Euker that advocated for the phonographic book “Push.” I nearly dropped my jaw when I heard a resident read 3 mins of this smut at a board meeting …a novel that Dr. Blanchard and Michelle Nestor fought successfully to keep in our CV library. a brief synopsis in case you haven’t read this family-oriented POS book: “…Powerful novel about Precious Jones, a functionally illiterate, pregnant 16-year-old in Harlem suffering from severe abuse. The book contains very explicit, graphic, and disturbing descriptions of sexual violence. The novel uses graphic descriptions of sexual situations to portray trauma, power dynamics, or the darker side of human relationships. Depict the ongoing incest and sexual abuse Precious suffers at the hands of her father.” …and that is the clean stuff! Thank you Michelle Nestor, Dr. Blanchard, and Dr. Euker for supporting the family values and literature that each of you must find pleasing and acceptable for our children that we have entrusted to each of you.

Should we expect Dr. Allen to make a statement again on behalf of CV Administration and School Board? Since he swooped in and took over for Blanchard and Nestor during the last crisis a few weeks ago, I figured he is the permanent spokesperson for CV dist.
