It was never about the Cumberland County Republican Committee bylaws. If Chair Lou Capozzi and his appointed “Ethics Committee” were truly upholding bylaws, likely half of the committee would have been on trial July 22, 2023. However, there were only nine.
Quick review of the evidence presented against me: a bag of campaign literature was left on a door, and I was accused because I am a resident of the same township! A sworn affidavit was submitted by the person that left the bag, but CCRC justified my prosecution with what they knew was an outright lie. New evidence presented for the first time to me at the hearing was an email statement by my political opponent for a current school board seat! The statement was that CCRC literature was not on my poll table, but the picture included as evidence clearly showed it was on my table. The last piece of evidence were pictures of a petitions that I signed for unendorsed candidates.
On 7/28/2023, Lou and his ethical circle received copies of a circulated petition for an unendorsed candidate. A committee person committed the exact deed others are now indefinitely suspended for. But this committee person is an outspoken cheerleader for CCRC leadership. Line by line of the bylaws would exclude the vast majority of members. Claiming ethics and integrity was merely a charade to hide behind. The “ethics hearing“ was about targeting and removing people Lou and leadership didn’t like for one reason or another.
In fact after the “hearing”, Lou stated, “now that the cancer has been removed we can move forward and not be subjected to the intolerance and idiocy that you saw today.”
What is very clear to the nine and thankfully to more of the public every day, is that Lou and those involved with July 22 had an agenda and it wasn’t about ethics or the bylaws at all.

Lou is yet another elitist snob and grifter that thinks he can abuse the system because the rules don’t apply to him. He and every stuck up elitist that voted with him in his illegitimate kangaroo court needs expelled from GOP leadership. Calling those you don’t agree with “a cancer” is no different than Hillary calling half the country a “basket of deplorables”.
