Derry Township, Pennsylvania – The Dauphin County Fire Investigation Team, with assistance from Derry Township Police, has begun their investigation into the residential fire at 290 Dunham Drive and provided a release of information regarding the investigation into the fire.
The house fire occurred at 290 Dunham Drive, Derry Township, Dauphin County on Monday, April 17, 2023 and it has been determined that the fire originated within the enclosed roof structure of the residence.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.
Investigators, after examining evidence and talking with witnesses, believe that after ignition, the fire spread undetected throughout the roof structure which caused the extensive fire conditions present upon the arrival of the first fire department units six minutes after dispatch.
