Harrisburg, Pa. – Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro today made a comparison between voting in U.S. elections and competing in an Olympic sport.
Shapiro referenced his campaign against Republicans in Pennsylvania, who he called “extremist,” and vowed to use his powers as an elected official to battle his political opponents. Shapiro is running for Pa. Governor in 2022 as a Democrat.
“As long as I’m in elected office, I’ll do everything in my power to make sure they don’t,” Shapiro tweeted.
