Update: River Rescue Community Seminar June 24th, 11am – Public Safety Center @ HACC
Attention: Up and Coming Young Guppies and Sharks in the City of Harrisburg
By: Lewis Butts
It is most unfortunate to report that recently some young members of our community have passed away, in the force of the mighty Susquehanna River.
Due to the fact that African American children are more likely to drown than any other race, it comes with great relief to announce that a program is being offered for the children of Harrisburg to learn a valuable life skill.
Swimming
Through the Division of Parks & Recreaction, this program in particular will offer an introduction to life saving.
