Harrisburg, PA – You can ask any citizen around town, and they will tell you that crime is the number one most pressing issue in the City of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Bottom Line.
“Officers were ordered not to make vehicle stops, due to the national media inflaming certain interactions between police and the community.” – Jennie Jenkins
Harrisburg100 has received an Exclusive press release from Mayoral Candidate Jennie Jenkins.
Jenkins Said:
“The new police computer system is cumbersome. Because of this, officers are less inclined to take a report, especially near the end of a long shift, after several hours of work, and due to certain crimes being unsolvable. This is why it appears that crime is down. There is no time for reports.
Therefore the reporting to the FBI is flawed.
They are reporting only what they can respond too, and not on what is actually happening in the streets. That’s why people don’t believe the statistics.
Furthermore, officers were ordered not to make vehicle stops, due to the national media inflaming certain interactions between police and the community.”
Harrisburg Police were basically ordered to NOT do their jobs!
This problem is not exclusive to Harrisburg, it is part of a phenomenon surrounding police departments nationwide, as described by Sheriff David Clark Jr. in his new book, “Cop Under Fire.” Sheriff Clark explains how all over the country cops are ordered to stand down. While the leaders put cute hash tags out.

The Endorsement
Thank you to Jennie Jenkins, for exposing the root of this computer problem during the first Mayoral Debate, last week, and today for this breaking news about HPD being ordered to stand down.
Jenkins, who is the most experienced candidate, as it relates to crime in the City of Harrisburg, issued this statement today in response to a weekend shooting, that was witnessed and reported by city councilman Ben Allatt on facebook. Local residents have expressed concerns that these shootings incidents often have no record of being reported in the police log.
Jenkins is the only candidate who understands what the great officers of this city are up against, and is the only candidate that has an actionable plan to motivate and empower the citizens, also to Restore, Rebrand and Rebuild this great city.
