Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania — Police are investigating the activity of an interstate crime ring targeting valuables left in vehicles, and other crimes throughout the region. Several suspects have been arrested following a cooperative investigation between police in Lancaster and Dauphin Counties. Charges are currently pending and a larger investigation is ongoing. Police in Hummelstown also recently announced arrests in a similar case.
The Felony Lane Gang is a criminal network known for breaking into vehicles, stealing credit cards and personal items, and then quickly passing that information to others who use the stolen cards to purchase gift cards and other items.
According to a news release from the Northwest Regional Police in Lancaster County, on September 28, 2025, at approximately 7:37 p.m., the Northwest Regional Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle break-in at the Conewago Trail parking lot area located on North Market Street in Mount Joy Township. Responding officers discovered a vehicle had the window smashed and items were taken.
Around the same time, the Susquehanna Regional Police Department received similar reports of multiple vehicle break-ins along the Northwest River Trail parking lot, where at least four additional vehicles had been entered and items stolen.
Through the diligent investigative efforts of Officer Good and Officer Gernert, the Northwest Regional Police Department obtained surveillance footage showing where the victims’ credit cards were used shortly after the thefts. With the cooperation of multiple jurisdictions, investigators were able to identify the individuals involved.
Further investigation revealed that these incidents were connected to a larger Felony Lane Gang operation — a criminal network known for breaking into vehicles, stealing credit cards and personal items, and then quickly passing that information to others who use the stolen cards to purchase gift cards and other items.
As a result of the collaborative efforts between multiple agencies within Lancaster and Dauphin County, Northwest Regional Police have arrested one individual connected to the crimes, and several others have been identified and taken into custody by neighboring jurisdictions.
This case remains an active and ongoing investigation.
The Northwest Regional Police Department would like to remind the public to keep all valuable property secured at home or on your person when leaving your vehicle unattended.
