Harrisburg, Pennsylvania — Harrisburg City Councilwoman Jocelyn Rawls gave a full endorsement of Lamont Jones for Harrisburg Mayor today on the Real Rap with Ron Chapel show, citing his dedication to Harrisburg, and commitment to maintaining a working relationship between the mayor and city council. 

City council and the sitting mayor remain embattled over budget and staffing disputes.

During the interview, Jocelyn went on discuss her family including her father Jesse Rawls Sr., a Susquehanna School Board member, and her brother Jesse Rawls who is a principal at Cumberland Valley High School. Jocelyn also spoke fondly of her sister-in-law, Erica Rawls, who is a successful real estate agent. Together they have a passion for expanding the home ownership rate beyond the current 20% average in the City of Harrisburg.

Jocelyn Rawls is running for re-election as a member of city council in 2025.
