By Vincent DiFilippo

The election for supervisor in Silver Spring Township gets more interesting.  Campaign finance reports were due on May 9.  The out-of-state super PAC, Strong Silver Spring filed its report.  So far, this super PAC has spent an incredible $32,000 on this election supporting candidates Sindiri and Sokoloski.  At a recent candidate’s forum, Sindiri and Sokoloski indicated they are not involved with the super PAC.  Assuming they were being honest, you would think they would have at the very least denounced this super PAC, especially after 11 campaign mailers had been sent on their behalf.  What is just as interesting is the fact that both Sindiri and Sokoloski failed to submit their campaign finance reports by the May 9 deadline.  I confirmed this fact with the Cumberland County Bureau of Elections. As of today, May 12, they have still not submitted their reports and are being fined daily.

Citizens of Silver Spring, do you see the red flags that I and many others are seeing?  We have two candidates who are being heavily supported by an out-of-state super PAC based in Virginia.  Sindiri and Sokoloski claim no involvement with this PAC and yet they are late in filing their own respective campaign finance reports.  I realize none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes, but candidates should be on top of these things.  What other surprises await us from their respective campaigns?  I once again ask you to please check out all the facts and please consider candidates Laura Brown and Mark Potteiger for the important positions of township supervisor.

Absolutely no one with an IQ over 80 is surprised. Why are out of state banks and PACs and questionable local millionaires throwing around large sums of money on small, local political campaigns like township supervisor and school board director?

That part of Mechanicsburg is a heavily populated Eastern/Asian Indian area. If they are all legal to vote…it may just go that way. But it’s America. If these candidates are citizens, they have a right to run for office correct? And it’s 4 days past the filing deadlines. Maybe they can afford the fines. Get out and vote. The one who gets the most votes will win. 💁‍♀️

Their wealthy benefactors can pay the fines for them. I am sure that the Virginia Bank and Mr Verber will quickly pay the fines for them because they own these sell out candidates.

Give it a break Vince. You don’t know the whole story. You’re not giving any rationale for supporting Brown. You’re afraid of new voices on the Board, aren’t you? – because you’ve lost your own status here and your buddy Nancy is no longer on the board.

Sokoloski and Sindiri are BOUGHT AND PAID for puppets!! They say they are for transparency, yet can’t file their own candidate financial reports on time, nor ensure their own PACs file them on on time either. Sokoloski’s wife works for One+ Strategies–exact same address in Harrisburg as Red Maverick Media that was contracted by Strong Silver Spring PAC and spent over $32,000 to put out all the hit pieces on their opponents. Voters can see right through this SCAM!! Sokoloski and Sindiri want to build huge data centers in Silver Spring Township.

No one wants corrupt politicians that big money has bought and paid for. Your out of state shady bank and local millionaires giving to your lobbyists, um I mean, candidates, is not what the people of Silver Spring want.

Did that individual post, just claim it’s smart to take bribes and sell out “for the good of the community”? Anyone who believes outside cash and local millionaires have “our best interests” has less brain activity than Joe Biden. It is sad that some members of the public can be bought so easily, with a thousand signs and hotdog & pizza parties. FBI should investigate that bunch.
