Several days ago, I submitted a letter to the editor regarding the upcoming municipal elections, and particularly the supervisor election in Silver Spring Township. More information has been discovered regarding the unknown political action committee (PAC) known as Strong Silver Spring. The new information is quite interesting.
The official document creating this PAC is dated April 28, 2025. It is public information, and copies can be obtained by contacting the Cumberland County Bureau of Elections. The political committee registration statement indicates an address at 5246 Simpson Ferry Road, #318, Mechanicsburg PA. This location is the Postal Connections office, located in a strip mall on Simpson Ferry Road, not a true commercial or residential address. More interesting is the bank that is listed on the PAC registration. It is Chain Bridge Bank NA located in McLean Virginia. This bank’s services and policies are designed to meet the needs of political campaigns.

Even more interesting are the names of the chairman and treasurer of the PAC. Those names are Joel Riter and Dustin McIntyre, respectively. These two individuals do not live in Silver Spring Township, or Cumberland County, or Pennsylvania. In fact, if you do a search, you will find that between the two of them, Riter and McIntyre have direct links to over 80 super PACs that provide hundreds of thousands of dollars to state and federal candidates.

Why are Riter and McIntyre involved in a municipal election? The Strong Silver Spring PAC has sent out at least 9 campaign mailers supporting candidates Sokoloski and Sindiri. That costs a lot of money. Who are the local people behind this PAC?
Residents of Silver Spring, do you want PAC outsiders who don’t even live here intervening in the upcoming local election? Before you vote on May 20, please check out the facts.

More corrupt millionaire run super PACs in our local elections. Looks like Verber isn’t the only one.

Can someone tell us one reason to vote for Laura Brown –she’s been nothing but a pawn for developers and now it’s an election year and she’s coming off crystal clean. Silver Spring Township needs new leadership and new management. Laura has been a puppet of the old school.

The township needs one less game show hosting parading around as a messiah for transparency and fair zoning.

According to his interview for CBS21 in May ’24, Sindiri said he would provide more representation and would be someone who can help with the District’s budget issues. “I speak 6 different languages. I speak for my friends. I speak for my people. I can be the bridge to that between the board and us,” he said. Looks like Sindiri can’t solve the school district’s huge financial mess. Maybe if he didn’t miss so many meetings. Too bad Sindiri might have had a chance, but if you’re letting political hacks do the dirty work it doesn’t matter how many languages you speak. ps. You are the one getting scammed by the Cumberland County GOP ‘If we win, you win!”….what a fool.

Sokoloski is NOT new leadership. He is a recycled politician with a spotty record from 2018-19. The Republicans probably needed a seat filler with connections. If he was so interested in the changes happening in Silver Spring, where was he to voice his concerns? Didn’t see or hear Sokoloski or Sindiri at any meetings over last several years.

Is there an alternative besides the Brown/Pottegier and Sindiri/Sokoloski options?
If both have more negatives than positives, how can we decide?

I had two candidates come to my door. I asked each the same 3 questions:
Teresa Myers- running for prothonotary.
Atreia Sindiri- running for twp supervisor.
Ques. 1 Myers: Has done a 180 on abortion. Now strong pro-life at conception.
Sindiri: Said choice is up to individual but if were a decision his child had to make he would be against having abortion. Said he is a religious man and was involved with building a temple.
Ques. 2 Myers: Husband is sportsman and gun owner. Gave details on countries that prohibit gun ownership and consequences.
Sindiri: Said second amendment was part of our culture. I mentioned it was also part of our constitution.
Ques. 3 Murry: Supports Donald Trump.
Sindiri: Said Donald Trump is a smart man. Said his decisions have adversely affected his business.
