Harrisburg, Pennsylvania — News coverage of a suspect involved in a fatal shooting of an off-duty corrections officer back in November 2023 failed to disclose that the suspect is an ILLEGAL ALIEN.
Francisco Hernandez-Hernandez, 26, of Mexico, remains in Dauphin County Prison, where he is awaiting trial for killing: 39-year-old Josue “Rocky” Saez, a sergeant at SCI-Camp Hill. A shootout happened outside an apartment complex in the 300 block of North Harrisburg Street, where they were neighbors.

News reports noted that police were also looking for Felix Hernandez-Hernandez, whom they identified as a person of interest in the shoot-out.
Dauphin County has repeatedly refused to provide information surrounding ICE detainment requests issued to its prison, whereas Cumberland County has been responsive to this same right-to-know request. Additionally, no mention of Dauphin County’s inmates illegal status is noted on their court records.
