Greensburg, Pennsylvania — PA GOP State Committee Woman Nancy Pleskovitch of Ligioner (Westmoreland County) received word yesterday (Friday, April 25) that she will be removed from her elected Committee Person position, within the Westmoreland County Republican Committee (WCRC).
The letter, signed by WCRC Solicitor John M. Hauser, III, reads:
“Following this investigation, it was concluded that you did openly campaign for non-endorsed candidates, against endorsed candidates and this behavior not only undermines the endorsed candidates, but also contravenes the WCRC Bylaws, which seek to ensure unity and support for endorsed candidates.
“Therefore, this correspondence shall serve as official notification of your removal from the WCRC for violation of Rules 1.2 and 1.3 of the WCRC bylaws.”
The investigation revolved around Pleskovitch’s support of unendorsed statewide candidates:Commonwealth Court Candidate Joshua Prince and Superior Court Candidate Maria Battista, by circulating their nomination petitions and promoting their campaigns on her social media.
Pleskovitch contends that the WCRC Bylaws 1.2 and 1.3 only require her to support WCRC-endorsed candidates – and Pleskovitch affirmed she is bylaw-abiding – to that point. She said the WCRC did not endorse for statewide offices at its March 15th convention, and so the charges brought against her are technically outside of WCRC’s “jurisdiction.”
There is no indication yet that Pleskovitch is at risk of losing her elected PA GOP State Committee title, for which she earned 15,313 votes in her county, in May 2022. Harrisburg100 invites PA GOP to comment on whether Pleskovitch’s state committee role is in jeopardy.
Pleskovitch remains a CP while she appeals the WCRC’s decision to its Executive Board. To overturn the decision, two-thirds of the Executive Board would have to vote in Pleskovitch’s favor.
Stay tuned to Harrisburg100.

Our most important right is free speech which is backed up by the second amendment. Apparently Republicans are cowards and can’t withstand internal competition. Even worse is their use of fake proxy votes which is more corrupt than democrat voter harvesting. Be a man and show some fortitude. Again, I’m running for governor to change these practices.

Meanwhile the rats and RINOs of Cumberland County Republican Committee are protecting and helping an appointed CP who is running democrats as republicans in the CV school board race so they can later run against other republicans, like Scott Perry, in a year or 2. It is absolutely disgusting and ridiculous.

The real question here is why did the Republican elite endorse Wheatcraft and Wolford? That’s where things went wrong; not what this CP has done.

Stay STRONG Nancy! And remember this: YOU ARE NOT ALONE! There are MANY more of us! I am one of the Cumberland County 9 removed for supporting a successful incumbent Republican Commissioner who won 6 times without the Party’s Endorsement.
They can refuse to let you play in their little (and shrinking) club, but you are an ELECTED COMMITTEEWOMAN and they cannot remove that from you! DO NOT let them report a replacement to the Bureau of Elections! Notify the county that you are the Elected Committeewoman, and no one but you may resign that seat! We had to defend our seats to the Board and advise them we have NO intention of quitting! We represent our voters. We’re not indentured servants of the Chair! With you in Spirit!! Draining the swamp takes fighters like you!
To the rest of the Republican voters out there… your Party despises you. We can’t check out, that’s what they want! Take them back! Find out when the committee people are up for election and RUN, baby RUN!!

What’s the point of voting if those you voted for can be ejected from their position based on some arbitrary ruling by a selected few?
Sounds a bit fascist to me.
