Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania —A 4600 square foot retail storefront will be built this spring at the Market Street Square in Elizabethtown. The new building will feature a Starbucks, and the nearby Verizon store will be relocated here.
The project is tentatively scheduled to begin in April.

The existing buildings in the plaza are located in Elizabethtown Borough, however the new building is being proposed to be built in the parking lot area of the plaza which is located in Mount Joy Township.
Shoppers of the plaza are concerned about traffic entering and exiting from the parking lot considering the increased congestion anticipated with the new stores to be built in the parking lot.

Shoppers noticed that for the first time in 50 years Fred Herr wasn’t permitted to open his Christmas tree sales in the parking lot due to anticipated construction.
