New Cumberland, Pennsylvania – Multiple reports of entries into vehicles with items stolen have recently been made to the New Cumberland Police Department between August 17 & 18.
According to one neighbor on 16th Street, their car was ransacked this morning while parked in the driveway around 10 am, and police said they were the eighth caller today.
Another neighbor said 12 cars had been hit in the Beacon Hill neighborhood late Friday overnight into Saturday. Reports of theft have also been made in the Allendale neighborhood.

Police urge residents and visitors of the borough to lock and secure your vehicle when left unattended.
“Always lock your doors, keep your windows up, and limit valuables left visible or accessible inside of the vehicle.”
