Myerstown, Pennsylvania — Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a person in Myerstown. According to initial reports, a juvenile is missing.

K9’s are canvassing the streets in town and a helicopter is searching overhead.

Police are searching for 11 year-old Ace Snook, 8/15/2024

Update: Pennsylvania State police are searching for a missing 11-year-old boy who ran away from his grandmother’s home on Wednesday.

Pennsylvania State Police responded to 212 E. Main St., Myerstown, at approximately 11:25 p.m. Wednesday night for a report of a runaway. Through investigation it was discovered that Ace Snook, 11, ran away from the location without shoes, money or his cell phone.

Snook had been residing at the address with his grandmother for the past two weeks, according to police.

“An extensive canvass was conducted by patrol units with negative contact,” police said in a release. “Aviation, K-9, and a SERT drone responded to the scene and assisted.”

The K-9 alerted in the area of South Cherry Street and Madison Alley, but yielded negative contact.

Snook was entered in CLEAN/NCIC as missing/runaway.
