It’s been on my mind to write a letter about my recent attendance at a Trump rally. In a few words: experiencing a Trump rally is experiencing America! The first thing that strikes you is this wave of patriotism and optimism in the room! The second was the sheer number of people and diversity in the room! Thousands of different faces, different classes of people …different fashions & personalities. It was a great display of diversity meeting unity: we were all there for the same goal: to make America great again. I was even struck by the number of elderly & disabled attendees, who struggled to descend many stairs to get up-front seats. It was heart-clenching every time!

Next, the Trump team knows how to set the mood, with music that fueled the excitement! I couldn’t help but wonder if there was some symbolism in each song, like “In The Air Tonight” and “Gloria” – both songs, which hint of truth catching up to someone who has done something wrong.

Then there are the signs and the shirts – so many used these as their voices to express their distrust of the current regime, the mainstream media, the justice system – and to reinforce their support for the “convicted felon.” It was hilarious and gratifying at the same time to see so many who recognize the dishonesty being played out on a mass scale in our country today. Then, the moment comes, when Trump sets foot on the stage and the crowd erupts! Then, he freely speaks about the state of our country: something the media doesn’t share with brutal honesty. I would urge anyone who is on the fence about Trump and only gets fed the mainstream news, to attend a rally. You’ll leave wanting to: Make America Great Again.
