Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – A shooting that occurred near Arooga’s on 2nd Street left one person critically injured this morning in Harrisburg.
A man was shot in the chest and rushed to the hospital.
Police say that another individual attempted to flee from officers near the scene but was caught on Locust Street after a short foot pursuit. The individual did attempt to discard a firearm while fleeing from officers, but that firearm was recovered by officers.
Kayla Schmidt reported a heavy police presence downtown in the area of the shooting.
