Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – Kevin S. Doolittle, 44, of Harrisburg, has been charged by East Pennsboro Township Police April 27, with a misdemeanor count of theft by deception for failing to complete lawnmower repairs, for which he received $260 (for labor and parts). According to the police complaint, Doolittle never returned to complete the work and stopped communicating with the victim.
Doolittle also faces a host of similar charges in neighboring jurisdictions, dating back to February, as follows: a single misdemeanor theft by deception charge, filed in February, in Mechanicsburg; three (3) misdemeanor theft by deception charges, filed in late April, in Lower Paxton Township; a single misdemeanor theft by deception charge, filed April 30 in Fairview Township; a single misdemeanor theft by deception charge, filed April 30 in Susquehanna Township; as well as two misdemeanor theft-related charges, filed April 24, in West Hanover Township.
Doolittle also is facing harassment charges, filed in Lower Paxton Township – one a summary charge from January and one a misdemeanor grade charge, filed in March.
