President Donald J. Trump took to the podium at the Pa. Farm Show Complex large arena Friday night for his first campaign stop in Pa., but it wasn’t to award any blue ribbons. Instead, Trump starkly pointed out how our country is failing under President Joe Biden.

President Trump began his speech by acknowledging some of the high profile politicos from Pa. who were in attendance including media analyst Jeffrey Lord, Rep. Scott Perry, Rep. Dan Meuser, and many others.

Trump talked about the millions pouring into our border, causing vulnerable veterans and American citizens to suffer, while they are serviced with amenities from cell phones to hotel accommodations; he spoke about out-of-control crime along with the fentanyl crisis; and he mentioned our country’s insecurity on the world stage. Trump also noted the record inflation and grocery prices, which are soaring 40-50% higher. And, the crowd responded out loud when he talked about the two-tiered justice plaguing him, but blind to Biden’s crimes. Trump also spoke to police officers, assuring them “indemnity” as they protect and serve in an environment where criminals are often portrayed as “victim.”

President Trump’s speech was part of the Great Outdoors Show in Harrisburg, sponsored by the NRA, with which he anticipates a rousing endorsement and remarked on their great relationship. Thousands filled the stadium and were waiting in line for hours prior to his 6:00 pm arrival on the stage.

Trump’s sobering speech wasn’t without its laughs though, when he poked fun at Biden, who can’t find the exit stairs on a stage, or can’t speak coherently, but controls our nuclear weapons activation. He made reference to the “fake news” who frames him as crooked – while overlooking Biden on things like the classified documents charges. To this, the crowd hurled jeers at the mainstream news outlets, present in the center of the arena.

While this is his first campaign stop in Pa., it likely won’t be his last. His Feb.9th visit follows big wins in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada; and he told the crowd he’s heading to South Carolina for his next win.

After he criticized the dishonest reporting of the corporate “fake news” media, Trump expressed the need for real journalism in America. President Trump recognized citizen journalist Caroline Machiraju in the crowd as he was exiting the stage. He smiled and pointed to her as she held a sign that read, “Harrisburg100 Supports Trump.”

Here are some of Trump’s quotes from last night:

“Pennsylvania is one of the most important battleground states in the nation.”

“We will make America safe again.”

“Your second amendment will always be safe with me.”

“We’re gonna drill baby drill.”

“Electric cars don’t work in cold weather.”
