Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania – Widespread reports of a very loud boom that was heard and felt for miles around Mechanicsburg were made tonight, as well as reports to police of flashes seen in the sky at the same time.
Residents of Mechanicsburg, and nearby communities reported hearing a boom so loud that that were expecting to find a blown transformer, or major car accident scene in front of their home. However, no accidents or power outages have been reported in the area.
Unrelated reports of a pink sky near Carlisle are suspected to be from a large scale cannabis greenhouse operation near the PA Turnpike.
