Hershey, Pennsylvania – A battle of the titans in chocolate town ended today with a victory for the Hershey Trojans of Derry Township School District after recording a final score of Hershey 33, Milton Hershey 22.
The Spartans hosted the Trojans on a very wet and rainy day in central Pennsylvania. After a competitive first quarter, the Trojans began to pull away with a strong 27-15 lead at halftime, then scored another touchdown to start the second half, extending their lead to 32-15.
Even with the onset of untimely weather on the field today, there was no lack of enthusiasm from the well rehearsed cheerleaders of Derry Township.
