Hershey, Pennsylvania – It was reported at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday night when sky gazers in central Pennsylvania spotted a long line of starlink satellites, followed by some unconfirmed reports of the sound of booming or explosions.
According to one witness, the satellites appeared to be a blue color, but then disappeared as quickly as he first spotted them.
Another witness, Emily Drueding, reported hearing the loud booming explosion. “We thought it was a car accident at first. I saw it could be a starlink satellite but unsure what would cause the noise. I hear they are going to be launching even more low orbit satellites this coming week,” she said.
LeRessa Weisenford posted her experience witnessing the starlink satellites on social media. “I know I’m not tripping! Did anyone else see that stream of lights in a straight line in the sky that just disappeared!? Myself, mom, dad & two others all just witnessed that! We ain’t alone in this here universe folks!”
