Swatara, Pennsylvania – Plans for major road construction on US 322 near Chambers Hill are expected to be completed in 2027. Tree clearing has now begun in the vicinity.
New construction includes one through lane that will be added in each direction of US 322. Eastbound US 322 left turns will be replaced with a new jug handle and signal at Witmer Road.
Westbound US 322 left turns will be replaced with a new roundabout and bypass lanes at the intersection of Milroy Road and Grayson Road.
