Hershey, Pennsylvania – Former Harrisburg City Council member and influential Pennsylvania Democrat Committee person Brad Koplinski has an infamous history including burglary and child pornography. In 2016 Koplinski was charged with felony burglary and criminal trespass in Philadelphia, according to court documents.

Yet in October 2019, the Derry Township Democrats campaigned with Brad Koplinski, knocking on doors and walking with kids in the Hershey Halloween Parade.

On September 18, 2020, Brad Koplinski was then charged with 15 felony counts of child pornography after admitting to at least 36 previous instances.

Lindsay Drew is Chair of the Derry Township Democrat Committee. According to Drew she was out of town on vacation at the time when Koplinski was roaming the township. She is unaware of who organized the campaign event and approved Koplinski’s participation.

It’s an embarrassment for the democrat party.

Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse condemned child predator Brad Koplinski

Pennsylvania Lt. Governor John Fetterman attended a meeting with the Pennsylvania Democrat Committee during Koplinski’s tenure. He appeared in a photograph with Drew on January 31, 2020. Fetterman has not publicly condemned the actions of Koplinski.

Koplinski is awaiting plea court which has been continued four times since March 2021. He is expected to plead guilty in exchange for sentencing leniency.

Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse spoke out regarding Koplinsk’s association with Cole Goodman, George Scott, and the Dauphin County Democrat Committee during an interview broadcast by The Cidré Room.

Mayor Papenfuse condemned the local democrats, saying that “it speaks to a problem that we have, at least within the Dauphin County democrat party.”

Papenfuse mentioned Koplinski’s endorsements by the Dauphin County democrats, and went on to say, “we have to take collective responsibility for that, and I think it reflects poorly on George Scott, you know Koplinski was George Scott’s campaign manager..”

Watch the interview with Mayor Papenfuse here:

Cole Goodman expressed remorse for the victims of Koplinski’s actions, calling it “heartbreaking,” and saying that the children “were preyed upon.”

In 2016 Koplinski was criminally charged with burglary and criminal trespass in Philadelphia, according to court documents.

Goodman gave insight into his personal involvement with Koplinski, admitting that they hit houses together throughout Dauphin County during his 2019 election campaign.

Goodman sought to exonerate himself of his association with Koplinski by specifically highlighting the fact that his name did not appear with Koplinski on yard signs.

  1. Very disturbing how the Derry Township Democrats want to glaze over this like it never happened. Makes you wonder what else is going on in Hershey that we don’t know about.
